J. Patrick Meyer is an assistant professor in the Research, Statistics, and Evaluation program, Curry School of Education, at the University of Virginia. He teaches courses in educational measurement and classroom assessment. His research interests include diagnostic assessment, classical test theory, generalizability theory, and item response theory. He is currently working on Institute of Education Sciences and National Science Foundation grants that involve classroom assessment professional development for K-12 teachers and performance assessment of technology based, alternate reality science education.
