Bob Moje

A founding principal of the firm, Bob has been involved with the planning and design of historic and educational facilities for over 32 years. His work is distinguished by his commitment to creating facilities that surpass his clients’ expectations. Bob was the Principal-in-Charge of the highly acclaimed Manassas Park High School, and his dedication to team leadership has resulted in over 50 design awards for his clients.

Bob has participated in and presented at numerous conferences on the state and national level, including the Virginia School Boards Association Annual Convention, the Thomas Jefferson Center for Educational Design, the Virginia Governor’s Conference for Education, the Shenandoah Valley Educational Consortium, and the AIA Committee on Architecture for Education. He has served as a juror for the National School Board's Learning by Design "Excellence in Design" Awards and co-authored an article in their Learning by Design annual journal. Bob was also the only architect to be appointed to the Commonwealth of Virginia Joint House/Senate Subcommittee on Educational Infrastructure.

In 2003, VMDO was bestowed with the T. David Fitz-Gibbon "Firm of the Year" Award by the Virginia Society AIA, which acknowledges a firm that has consistently produced distinguished architecture for a minimum of ten years.
