The Technology Advisory Committee exists to:

Discuss the role of technology in teaching and learning, school management, and assessment.
Develop a shared vision of how technology will support Division objectives.
Review and recommend revisions to the Division’s Comprehensive Plan for Technology, which is updated annually and revised triennially. The Comprehensive Plan is aligned with the Technology Plan for Virginia.
Provide support for budget initiatives related to plan implementation.

The Technology Advisory Committee is comprised of approximately 25 members representing the Division’s stakeholders and are drawn from the Division’s instructional, administrative, and technical staff, parents, students, community and business members, university staff, and members of local technology consortia.
